Ok, kids, tomorrow when you wake up….there’s gonna be LOTS of pretties to look at!! LOL Be sure to check out my design teams blogs/galleries too…they have been having all sorts of fun with the new images, and will have eye candy we hope will inspire you!! (links are to the left). I will try to get all the new art posted in the March gallery too!!

I have added ALL sorts of die cuts to the list….if there is a set you own, and don’t see the die cuts (or want to buy a set) and you’d like to have die cuts made, let me know and I’ll add them to the list…I mean for 99 cents…you can’t go wrong!! lol  I’m working on getting images loaded of the sets too, so you can also see what they look like….probably take me about a week to get them done…cuz, well, you know..I DO have a few things going on….LIKE NEW SETS  to show you!!!!!

If you have placed an order in the past few days, you may have been chosen as a lucky winner of a free set of die cuts…I’ve been including them in some of the orders!! (how’s that for some un-expected fun!!)

And NOW for the new art….

Today’s card was done with the flower images from the new set BLISS….and I’ve used 2 diecuts too…the diecuts are painted with the penciled twinks technique I learned from Technique Junkies…(look for a new video tutorial on that coming out next week!!) I used pop dots, under just the flower parts, and I used the German script bg stamp (NEW) for the very back layer.

Edges have all been inked with a makeup sponge and sepia ink (Ranger). This is one of those projects that acutally turned out EXACLTY like I saw it in my head….I wanted white, with purple tipped Lillies…and hmmm, they are pretty close to that…grin…enjoy it!!

Here’s 2 more pieces for you to enjoy!! Both cards use a new set that I designed for use in the mega and giga punches (or any circle that is 2 1/2 inches and up)….one of my DT asked for some stamps to fit in those circles, and Punch Art 1-A Ray of Hope was born!!

First card: A Ray of Hope-quote and circle border stamp are from the Punch Art set, the large swirl and the open dots on the giga punch are from Doodles 5-Bauernmalerei, flourishes on the sides are from a clear set called Mischief (which, sorry to say is no longer available)

inside of this card: stamps used: Sitting Pretty (open tulip), Innies and Outties-Christian (Quote), and Punch Art set (little embellishment stamp)

Second card uses a techniqe from TJ’s newsletter. It calls for shimmer sheets, which I don’t have, but my DT Brenda Loock suggested using a foil gift bag as a substitute, and it worked GREAT!!! (Thanks Brenda!!)  The technique is called Aged metal. Due to the reflective nature of the foil, it’s not the best scan..but I think you can see it well enough??? The bg colors on the yellow sheet were done with color wash sprays.

Stamps used: Punch Art 1, and Honey Comb LARGE BG (NEW), Tulips and Vase

I have TWO cards for you today!! ONE doesn’t use ANY new images…but I was having such fun with the faux layers again, I just wanted to share it..and the second card, is made by Ursula Riley, and it’s dynomite!!!!! 

I used Tip Toe Tulips, (just for Betsy!!grin)  He Is Risen (quote), and Happy Hedgehog (fiber, and brad)…used the cuttlebug on the card base, adn there is ONE layer here, which is the blue card stock. But all of the images are stamped directly on it….used the negative spaces again for the scallop punch, and a sqaure punch. Still using the penciled twinks for fabulous depth and color!!  Hope you enjoy it!

Now for this terrific card Ursula made!! She used the dandelion top and stem from the So Hoppy Together Frog plate, and the words from another new set. Up Up and Away!! (which you haven’ even gotten a peak at yet!!! grin)

She used mulberry paper to get that wonderful fuzzy look on the dandy-lions..(grin)…and hand wrote the “Make A Wish” Isn’t this a terrific card!!!!

Boy, we are getting closer and closer to the release date!! I have to say, I have LOVED reading all of your comments! Hope you are inspired by this card, the idea for the Easter rat was provided by my 15 year old dd…giggle…I figured why not? LOL…so with out further ado..I give you….

 Saphira..the Easter Rat!

Stamps used are: Saphira the Rat, He is Risen (Easter Lily), Tip Toe Tulips (Quote), Sally’s Garden (dragon flies, tiny flower)NEW!, So Hoppy Together (dandelion top) NEW!, New Roost (eggs in straw), Create A Scene (grasses)

Egg ribbon (which is really a beautiful lilac color) is from my stash, have had it for some time, and have NEVER used it….I’m pretty sure I bought it at an after Easter sale at JoAnn Etc. (I LOVE using stuff from my stash, don’t you??)
