Here’s my card!

Stamp sets used: Sally Says, Got Chocolate, Love Never Melts Colors: Copics, Triart markers         Inks: Cat’s Eye-Dark Brown; Memento-Black   Technique: TJ’s Wisped Frames-Vol. 8 Issue 3-Feb. 2010;  Paper-white cs; DCWV block (I think)

I wanted to add a ribbon behind Sally, but didn’t want to go thru the effort of cutting her out, so I masked her instead, and used a straight edge and marker to create my own faux ribbon. Stamped the small chocolates randomly and then colored in. I think it came out really kool, what do you all think?? lol

Hope you’ll try this sketch!!!

Feel free to share with us thru Mr. Linky below!!

thank-you-card-blog-hop

This is a “circular blog hop” where the only beginning is wherever you start!!  You no longer have to go to a ’starting blog’, or try to find your way to the ‘ending blog’. You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from!  It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started. :0)

The winner will be chosen from a mystery blog hostess…so you’ll want to leave a comment on EVERY blog so you don’t miss out! It’s like a treasure hunt inside a blog hop…he he he

And now your next stop along the hop: URSULA

**To find out if you’ve won… I will contact you via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on MY BLOG around Nov 24th.

A new SKETCH!!

November 14, 2009 By: Pamela Category: Card Art, Sketches

Yeah!! I a fun new sketch to jump start your mojo!

AND< I got a bit over excited with this sketch, so you will see 4 samples today, and another one on Blog hop day!! lol

Here’s the sketch!

Card base measured 5.25 x 5.25 (tip: I just cut off a section of some card bases I had that were already 5.25 x7 and use the envelopes that come with the larger card. No extra postage since the envelope is a ‘normal’ size.)

the Sketch

September 12, 2009 By: Pamela Category: Card Art

Since the challenge this past week was to use one of my card sketches I’ve created the sketch to go along with the fall card I posted a bit ago. I was just going to add it to the post, but I wasn’t sure if when I edit a post, if you subscribers get multiple copies of it??

So until I find the answer to this question, I’ll post this separately.

I decided to use multiple colors of cardstock, so each different color is numbered. (which is also how I tend to create all of my sketches, each number means another color)

For the oval tag, you could use a piece that matches the card base (color 1) or just do like I did, and use a tan piece (color 5) and ink the heck out of it, til it matches….lol  For color/layer 3, I also embossed it, and I actually matted it, but I didn’t list that as a color/layer. Hope that makes sense!! lol
