a little about her:

Hi.  My name is Stef H.  you may have seen me in blogland where I am known as glitterbabe - sometimes, the lampshade lady!  Don’t matter.  I

answer to both - lol.  i have been a crafter going on 10 years now and am still trying to figure out where the time has gone.  I was introduced to stamping back in 2001 when I was invited to my very first stampin up party.  And, as they say, the rest is history.  I am a retired legal assistant and married to a wonderful man going on 17 years.  I discovered blogging a little more than a year ago and, like stamping, the rest is history.  I have met the best people from all around the world thru crafting and blogging and many of whom I am proud to call friend.  I have definitely found my niche in life.  Oh, and I just love making people laugh.  I certainly hope I can put a smile on your face

As you can see, I made a small change to the file from what you see here, in my sample, and what you will see on the download page. I decided it needed a line behind it to ground it more. I think you could easily add water and a sunset in the background now too. See what you think!

I’m Karli Miranda. By day, I’m disguised as a mild mannered 3rd grade teacher. But by night, after my 2 boys are off to bed, I get to play— with markers, stamps, & paper! I’ve used the Grand Ol Flag digi stamp. I created 2 projects for 4th of July (which is almost here!) The first is a little star wand and the second is a twirly bird/ helicopter.  (I’m using both of these for a kid craft hour for our family get together that I’ve been asked to do -to keep the kids busy for an hour  I’ll post all the details on my blog Friday. I’ve created  little tutorials for both and a template so those will be on my blog. If you have any questions please let me know. (Karli’s blog link is in her bio above)

Card art: Painted with Shimmerz collection: FireCracker For more fun, I added a metal star on top of the printed one, and used a Triart Marker flat tip to add color to the card edge.

Wish you could see the glimmer on this card, it’s gorgeous!

This second one I did giving a nod to our Military who have fought to make and keep us free!

I used Solar Gold from the 656 Twink set to color these stars. Copics and Triart for the rest of the bell, to create a camo look.

Our last lovely by Patty LaLatty!!

Patty used the digital image Buncha Daisies for this one. Isn’t this a WONDERFUL color palette? I think I need to just drop everything I’m doing, and make something with these colors….lol
