FCD has been published again!! THREE times, in THREE different places!

1. Ursula Riley in Scrap & Stamp! Ursula has TWO pieces in this issue! Both are shaker cards! Ursula used Chin Up on pg 20, and Theater Lights and Leading Ladies on pg 23. (I love the use of the ribbon to simulate the ribbon on the gals suit…very clever!)

2. Heather Lee-Reppen in Stampers Sampler Take Ten!! She used this ornaments set to create this gorgeous flower card (bottom left) Heather actually had 2 FCD cards in this magazine, but….but they mistakenly credited SU for her second card…arg

Please Welcome…

January 24, 2010 By: Pamela Category: Digital Images, Greetings, Other Art

I’d like to announce another NEW digital designer is joining the FCD team! Please welcome Cat Gondek of  Catstamps blog!!

Cat has a fun and quirky sense of humor, and her images are a HOOT!! She  writes her own phrases and often emails me in RHYME! I think  you’re going to get a kick out her digis!!

A little about her:

‘I’ve been stamping since before MOST of you stampers were even born — anybody else remember cutting a potato and dipping it in that awful powdered tempera paint that stayed gloppy no matter what? I am semi retired and live in Michigan and Florida, running back and forth between the two to dodge snowstorms and hurricanes. We travel heavy - with a dog, 2 cats and 3 birds all in the same car with my dear husband. Mike is a marathoner and ironman, which means he goes for long training runs and bike rides which gives me lots of time to play.’- Cat

Here’s two I did using her image Giroid! This is her first FCD image! You can buy this one as well as her 3 new Manatees which will be available along with the phrases and  rhymes she creates for them on our digi sale page here.

Spot light art Monday

January 04, 2010 By: Pamela Category: 2-Guest Designers, Card Art, Greetings

Oh, we’ve got a NEW Spotlight artist for January!! She is Sankari W. of the Cinema Saturday  Creative Challenge Blog!!

sankari-wegman—-Hi Everyone! My name is Sankari Wegman and I live out in the cornfields in the midwest with my DH and our two little children! I am a professor at the University and a health consultant as well, during the day; and a card making/scrapbook addict at night :) I started making cards about a year and a half ago when I started a blog, and immediately fell in love with papercrafting and feel blessed to have met so many amazing people blogging! When I am not in my craft corner (which literally is a corner of our bedroom), you will find me painting with my kids, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, watching movies with homemade popcorn and on warm days going for “adventure” walks with the kiddos :) I am totally grateful to Pamela to be the Guest Designer for January!!! Thank you so very much!
