About Me

Who am I? That’s a question I’ve asked myself a lot in the last 30 years or so…and I find that I am constantly changing, and I hope growing in an upward direction….lol

Here are a few things I know…..I am a SAHM of 2. My beautiful children are the joy (and sometimes the not so much joy) of my life…they are teenagers now….I can’t believe how time seems to be running downhill…..they give me inspiration, and lots of laughter…..

I’ve been married for over 15 years….he tolerates my insanity, and keeps me from going over the edge….he holds me up, and so far I’ve not fallen flat on my face….(landed on my butt a few times, but he’s always been there with a hand up….lol)

In Oct 2007 we moved from Ohio (where we’d been for 11 years) to SC. I LOVE the climate so far, and the skies are always postcard blue….how can you complain when the sun is shining? grin

I am addicted to stamp art..rubber stamps, clear stamps, it doesn’t matter..as long as I can use the clear acrylic blocks, so I can see where I’m going…when I go a few days with out making art, I feel unbalanced….there I said it outloud…hello…my name is Pamela, and I am a stamp-aholic…..and sometimes, I’m unbalanced…..lol

I started my love of art in HS..I attended school overseas, and had a wonderful art teacher (Hiya Mrs. T!) she encouraged us to try all sorts of mediums, and to never give up….I learned that there are no ’wrong way’ or ‘mess ups’ in art, just the opportunity for MORE ART….lol

My sister encouraged me to design rubber stamps for years, but I was, at that time a scrapper, and had no interest in designing rubber stamps. (HEY, I just realized something when I was reading this over, SHE got me hooked on scrapping too!!! hmmm, do we see a trend here? LOL) Anywho, I was too busy creating page kits, and selling my paper piecings on eBay….eventually, tho,  I started designing stamps for another company, and then went out on my own….and FireCrackerDesignsbyPamela came alive!

I have to say that designing stamp art is such a rewarding and fun job!! I have met such talented and wonderful people on my journey, and I hope to continue designing and bringing joy to others.

I hope you will visit my blog often(you can get email updates by signing up  on the left), take a peek at the gallery, or just leave me some love in the comments on the blog….(they really make my day…grin)

If we’ve inspired you, even a little, well……go stamp something!!
