Snow shepherds Christmas
I wanted to show you how I did the background, but my camera is not focusing like it should….drat!
stamp sets used: Snow Shepherds, Just Breathe (again), Christmas Phrases 1 (inside card) papers: Club Scrap; DCWV-Christmas stack, inks: Palette -Noir black,; Staz-on-black, Cactus; Distress inks-weathered wood, faded jeans; Adirondack lights-cloudy blue; Color It-silver (for small stars) extras: polar white flower soft (on trees), Shimmerz-angel wings (on ground for snow shimmer), candlelight (on sheep, light, and large star) EP-silver glitter (on small stars); vellum tag (stash) Coloring: wc pencils with a bit of TriArt markers Background technique: Faux Marbeling-Tj newsletter Vol. 8 (LOVE this simple technique!)
Inside of card: I used a scrap from the front of the card, and added the tiny ornaments from the Phrases set, isn’t that fun?

Here’s an extra! Last week, my fan group issued a challenge to ‘drop everything you are doing’ and make an ATC using ONLY what is on your craft table…(they haven’t seen my table lately…lol…I could have made 100 atcs with all the piles on there…grin)
This is the one I did: This is a left over ACT blank I created when I posted those fall ones a while back. It uses another TJ technique called Sanded Whitewash Vol 7-Aug/Sep TJ’s Newsletter. Doesn’t she look like she’s in a snow storm? Doesn’t seem to be bothering her a bit tho, huh?

how wonderful! Love the pair of lambs with the snow shepherd, and the pine trees work perfectly with these images. Great background! Love the inside quote with the bit of scrap (amazing how much that adds to the look!!), and the ornaments are a great touch!
The ATC snow lady looks perfectly content to be in the snowstorm! Love that effect! :o)
Your card is so pretty! I love how it came out. Your ATC is so cute. I should do that with the stuff on my table, but mine’s a tv tray. I’ve got to try those tj techiques.
