DTS-Direct to Stamp Method

A Shimmerz tutorial written by Vicki Parson, for FCD

Here are some materials that you will need to apply Shimmerz directly onto your rubber stamp image.  *Don’t forget to quickly and thoroughly clean your rubber as it will get into the cracks and dry.* I use a baby wipe or Staz On cleaner.

As you can see, I’ve dipped a FOAM brush into the Shimmerz and I’m tapping it onto my rubber stamp.  Be sure to cover entire area, but don’t make it too thick.

After applying the coat of Shimmerz onto stamp, then you can stamp just like you would with your inkpad onto the paper only this will have a gorgeous shimmer to it!

Here is my finished sample with the direct to stamp method using Shimmerz.  As you can see, I’ve let it dry in between colors so they don’t run together.  You can also try variations by using different colors on your image.  (Solid image work best for this.)
