Guest Designer for November is
LESLIE MILLER 0f Running with Scissors!!
A little about Leslie:
“My name is Leslie Miller, and I live on the southern Oregon coast where I’m a wife, working woman, mom to a grown son and a Golden Retriever. The years have flown by since I started stamping and paper crafting, and it has become my #1 inside hobby. Who could imagine the adventures and friendships that would develop as a result? I started sharing online at Splitcoaststampers in 2004 and did a six month rotation on their Dirty Dozen Design Team. Next came my blog, Running with Scissors.., and the design team work and various opportunities were soon to follow. I’m especially happy at this time to be sharing some work with Firecracker Designs by Pamela.
When I’m not stamping, I get the most enjoyment from friends and family, books, movies, gardening, and being outdoors in general. The medical laboratory where I work is a busy and sometimes noisy place, and I love nothing more than peace and quiet at the end of the day. My stamp room is a most peaceful and personal place and I visit it as often as possible. Thank you!”
Leslie is playing with the Fall Flowers set, with a few of the Fall Quotes thrown in. Here’s her first piece, and it’s a DOOZY!
She says the image is watercolored with dye-based inks, and she turned the fall flowers into purple cone flowers. They look like you can reach out and touch them!

I really like how she tied this bow with two colors of ribbon, it’s so pretty!!
For more of Leslie’s art, tune in each Monday of November!

Wowza! That is just gorgeous! So many wonderful details that I had to sit and stare a while to make sure I didn’t miss anything!
I see that someone has already chosen my selected words for describing this beautiful work of art, I was gonna say “wowzer” but that has already been taken, then I was gonna say “wowza” and that too has been used; so I will just say Holie Camolie!!! Just gorgeous!! You are such an inspiration!
