Have been playing a bit with the new Parisian Romance set, thought I’d share a couple of ATCs I did.

The night one was really easy!

To create the Heart shaped moon, I used the heart from Love Never Melts, and stamped it on scrap paper, cut out to make a mask, and used a repositional glue on the back. (ZIG 2 way glue pen)  Once the ‘moon’ was dry, I stuck it to my jeans, to make it a little less sticky, and then stuck it to my paper. Inked around it, removed it when I was done, and there you go.

I used all Cat’s Eye inks, and DTP starting with the lightest color first, and adding darker colors as I went towards the edge. (it’s really a white ATC)Mostly: Ice Blue, Cyan, BlueLagoon, and Charcoal. After I removed the moon mask, and used the edge of the ink pad to drag a bit of color across the white, (I think it was Blue Lagoon)

to finish,  I stamped the long leaf image from Paper Roses, to create a feel for distance, then I used a bit of Angel Shimmerz to make the sky sparkle.

For Thinking of You:

I also used DTP, but this time I wanted to create a sort of whispy/dreamy look to the background, so I applied really light preassure, and made sweeping motions at an angle, moving from the inside to the outter edges, I wanted to see a bit of the stamp pad markings….(clear as mud huh? lol)

I stamped the lace heart in the middle, and used WC pencils to color in, first using a light color, and then going back in with a darker color and just hitting the left side of each part of the image. I did NOT blend these colors. (activate the wc)

I applied liquid glass right over the top of it, and let it dry over nite.

I stamped the XOXO image all the way around the edge, and added the phrase underneath.
